OVICARE-900 is a balanced, very high protein (32.5%), nutrient-rich and high-quality concentrate, specially designed to ideally utilize the co-administration of cereal grains – in a ratio of 50% OVICARE‑900 : 50% cereals (corn, barley, etc.) – in the mixture of concentrated feeds. It ensures the maintenance of animal health at excellent levels and the manifestation of the high milk-producing genetic potential of goats and sheep in intensive farming.

It is administered alongside high-quality coarse feed (alfalfa and grass hay, corn silage, wheat straw, etc.).
For its administration, it is mixed with cereals (corn, barley, etc.) participating in a percentage of 50% of the concentrated animal feed (cereal grains), in improved high-milk-producing sheep and goats, supplemented with excellent quality roughage. The indicative amount of the total mixture administered is 650-750gr./animal/day (50% OVICARE-900 - 50% cereals) for each liter of sheep's milk or for each 2 liters of goat's milk, for each 1 kg of milk produced, as long as the roughage covers the basic maintenance needs and at least 50% of the Dry Matter of the daily ration.
By administering OVICARE-900, we contribute to the smooth increase and development of milk production with optimum improved quality characteristics of milk (lipoprotein, SNF - solids without fat, lactose, ash). Dyspeptic acidosis is avoided due to high administration of cereal grains. It responds excellently to the demanding stages of high and very high milk production, achieving yields of over 400 liters during the lactation period.
OVICARE-900 can also be administered during the last 1.5 months of pregnancy with the corresponding percentage participation in the total indicative amount of 800-1200gr./animal/day of concentrated feed, although it is more advisable to administer the special pregnancy mixture of OVICARE-500 or the concentrate OVICARE-800E.
