Select the appropriate final volume of solution at the appropriate dilution. Measure the appropriate amount of Virkon-s powder to achieve the desired dilution, using the measuring cup provided. Add the Virkon-s powder to the water and stir until dissolved.
Final disinfection for all surfaces and mobile equipment: Use a pressure sprayer at 300psi or other mechanical means at a rate of 300ml/m2 at a dilution of 1:100.
Disinfection of mobile equipment: Spray the equipment with Virkon-s solution at a rate of 300ml/m2 at a dilution of 1:100. Disinfection of shoe and vehicle baths: Replace the solution when it becomes discolored or after 4-5 days at a dilution of 1:100.
Disinfection of water network: Isolate the tank from the network and empty the water to the last drinker. Clean from organic matter where present. Refill with water and add the appropriate amount of Virkon-s powder, shake and leave for 10 minutes. Turn on the water supply and leave for another 50 minutes. Then empty and fill with clean water. Dilution 1:200. Air disinfection: Use a pressure sprayer with a flow rate of 1lt/10m2 of surface at a dilution of 1:200
