It is administered alongside excellent quality roughage (alfalfa and grass hay, corn silage, wheat straw, etc.) in an indicative amount of 550–650 gr./animal/day for each liter of sheep's milk or for each two liters of goat's milk, provided that the other roughage covers the basic maintenance needs and at least 50% of the dry matter of the daily ration. OVICARE-220 can balance a deficient ration in protein and energy.
By administering OVICARE-220, we contribute to the smooth increase and development of milk production, with improved milk quality characteristics (lipoprotein, SNF - solids without fat, lactose, ash) responding excellently to the demanding stages of high and very high milk production, achieving yields of up to 500 liters during the lactation period.
OVICARE-220 can also be administered during the last 1.5 months of pregnancy in an indicative amount of 850-1300gr/animal/day, although it is more advisable to administer the special pregnancy mixture, OVICARE-500.
