LONGSEPT liquid disinfectant for general use

Its application is recommended on surfaces and objects where animals are housed, kept or transported, in storage, incubation and waste disposal areas of the Veterinary sector, for professional use.

It is a disinfectant that combines phenolic derivatives with activators and surfactants, with all these agents being of high purity and effectiveness. The product is absolutely non-toxic and inert in contact with the skin (even under prolonged contact). It has a broad spectrum of activity, which includes without exception viruses, Gram(+) and Gram(-) spore-forming microbes, Mycobacterium Tuberculosis and fungi. It also has nematicidal, proteicidal and anti-mycoplasma activity. Its activity against viruses, fungi and bacteria is achieved within 5 minutes at dilutions of 1/1,000 (0.1%) to 2/1,000 (0.2%). In forms that multiply by spores, dilutions of the order of 4/1,000 (0.4%) are necessary. A change in activity is observed only in the presence of organic substances. Due to the dual nature of the product as a disinfectant and surfactant, it has the ability to penetrate surfaces even when they are oily. It has a deodorizing effect that is not due to the masking of unpleasant odors but to its ability to destroy osmogenic fermentations.

  • USES:
  • Cleaning and disinfection of areas where animals are housed.
  • Areas where cages are kept and their entrances.
  • Incubation, storage, staff housing, waste areas, etc.
  • Cleaning and disinfection of farm equipment: waterers, feeders, egg laying areas, incubators, auxiliary material, boots, vehicles, etc.
  • Boot dips.
  • Disinfections of areas related to livestock, where microbial infections are possible.
  • Disinfection of livestock housing areas without their removal.
  • CONTRAINDICATIONS AND ADVERSE REACTIONS: At the dilutions used and according to the instructions, there are none.
  • SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Wear eye protection. Prolonged inhalation of vapors may cause drowsiness and dizziness.
  • USE DURING PREGNANCY AND LACTATION: No special precautions are required.
  • INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER SUBSTANCES AND OTHER FORMS OF INTERACTION: Incompatibility with cationic substances.
  • HOW TO USE
  • Wetting:
  • Cleaning-disinfecting empty spaces: completely wet floors, ceilings, walls, ventilation pipes, non-movable equipment with a 0.4% solution.
  • Cleaning-disinfecting various materials and vehicles: after completely wetting the surfaces with the 0.4% solution, scrub well with the help of a brush.
  • Cleaning-disinfecting incubation equipment: frequent cleaning of equipment with the 0.4% solution. Particular attention to cleaning ventilation pipes and any "blind" spots.
  • Periodic cleaning for paving stones and walls: for no-rinse disinfection, always use a concentration of 0.4%.
  • The same concentration should be used when disinfecting or immersing cages. Pay particular attention to cleaning ventilation pipes and any "blind" spots.
  • For areas that are used: complete wetting of the surface by diluting the above content in a ratio of 1/4. In detail, this corresponds to using 1lt of LONGSEPT in 250lt of water per 1,000 m2.
  • Spraying:
  • Use a 25% dilution for use in the nebulizer.
  • Disinfection of empty spaces before animals enter: Spray 1lt of 25% concentration per approximately 200m2. The area to be disinfected should remain closed. The contact of the disinfectant should last at least 1 hour for the best possible results.
  • Boot dips and surrounding areas:
  • Use a 1.5% concentration. • Repeat use every 15 days. • Use 250 ml of solution per m2 in the surrounding areas.
  • SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR EACH TARGET STRAIN: None.
  • WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: Not necessary.
  • SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR THE USER OF THE PRODUCT: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Wear eye protection. Prolonged inhalation of vapors may cause drowsiness and dizziness.
  • SPECIAL PHARMACEUTICAL ELEMENTS
  • MAIN INCOMPATIBILITIES: Do not use in combination with other cleaning or disinfecting products.
  • SHELF LIFE: Product: 2 years.
  • SPECIAL STORAGE PRECAUTIONS: Keep the product in a dry, dark and well-ventilated place (temperature 25°C).
  • NATURE AND CONTAINER CAPACITY: Plastic containers of 100 ml, 1 lt, 5 lt and 20lt.
