COMPOUND SUPPLEMENTARY FEED CONCENTRATE FOR HIGH MILK PRODUCTION INTENSIVE BREEDING OF SHEEP AND GOATS.
“OVICARE-200 is a balanced mixture of nutrients, with a high percentage of protein (19% of plant origin), specially designed for improved high-productivity sheep and goats. It ensures the maintenance of animal health at excellent levels and the manifestation of the milk-producing genetic potential of sheep and goats in intensive farming. It is administered in parallel with high-quality roughage (alfalfa hay and grasses, corn silage, wheat straw, etc.) in an indicative amount of 500-550gr/animal/day for each liter of sheep’s milk or two liters of goat’s milk, as long as the roughage covers the basic maintenance needs and at least 50% of the Dry Matter of the daily ration. When the ration presents protein deficiency or protein supplementation is required (rations that are fed low-protein roughage) its administration amounts to 550-650gr/animal/day.

By administering OVICARE-200, we contribute to the smooth increase and development of milk production, with optimum improved milk quality characteristics (lipoprotein, SNF - solids-free, lactose, ash), responding excellently to the demanding stages of high and very high milk production, achieving yields of over 400 liters during the lactation period.
OVICARE-200 can also be administered during the last 1.5 months of pregnancy in an indicative amount of 800-1200gr./animal/day, although it is more advisable to administer the special pregnancy mixture, OVICARE-500.
